Story
My journey into 3D design actually started in a pretty unexpected way.
When I was about ten, my older brother had just gotten into software development, and I was always fascinated by computers. So, I'd often just hang out by him, watching what he was doing and peppering him with questions about Visual Basic. Before long, I was tinkering around myself, even coding up a basic calculator and a few other small programs.
about 3D games – I mean, how did they even work? I honestly thought maybe it was all just super-detailed hand-drawn art animated frame by frame. So, I did what any curious kid would do: I searched for '3D game development using Visual Basic' lol). That's how I stumbled upon a Blender tutorial for a game character, and that was it. My real introduction to 3D. While I eventually moved away from game development, my passion for 3D just took off from there, and it's been the driving force ever since.
Fast forward to today, and that same passion fuels my work as a lead 3D designer. I get to collaborate with some truly incredible brands like Rolls Royce, KPMG, SACF, BMW, Jeep, and GACA, helping them bring their visions to life with impactful designs.
I've also had the opportunity to partner with great agencies, including Inssain, Everythink, and ArtGarage. My toolkit's pretty versatile: I use Blender, Substance Painter, Fusion360, and Twinmotion for 3D; Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for 2D graphics; and Figma and Protopie for UI/UX design. And for a couple of years (2021-2023), I had a dynamic role at Semanoor, where I got into AR/VR initiatives, 3D modeling for LMS, some game development tasks, and graphic/UI/UX design. Before all that, at Marina Inc. Printers, I focused on optimizing designs for print and creating concept visualizations for clients like Samsung, Almarai, and Lay's.
